Photo editing is like make-up: attempting perfection, the natural/believable beauty is hidden. Although flawless, the image becomes anonymous and distant. This is why, at best, “make-up” is an expression of modesty. At worst, it is a monstrous vehicle of boredom: the anti-chaos.
